Expo 2000: 21st Century pavilion

21st Century pavilion - Shanghai zone - at Expo 2000

Whilst at The Visual Connection I was responsible for the audio-visual elements of two zones - Aachen and Shanghai - part of the 21st Century pavilion. It was the most popular pavilion in the entire Expo.

 

The image shows the 'table of projects' - a mix of dramatised scenes and graphics about sustainability in Shanghai, projected from beneath the table, and a 'library' with 'video books' (the programmes were triggered when the books were moved.)
